The Story of Zsa Zsa Padilla
Zsa Zsa Padilla dubbed as ”The Divine Diva” of the Philippines is a famous Filipino singer, recording and concert artist and a dramatic & comedy actress. She engages also in songwriting, commercial modeling & product endorsing. She’s a businesswoman and a record producer.
Zsa Zsa was born on May 28, 1964 and a daughter of a known actor and sportsman Carlos Padilla. She was married to Modesto Tatlonghari, a much older man and a dentist. Their relationship bore her a daughter named “Karylle”, a famous singer and actress like her.
In somewhere of 1970, she started as a member of the band Hotdog. She pursue as solo artist after her departure of the band. Her gorgeous looks had taken the attention of the producers of Movie and TV films. She accepted her first role in TV drama series on 1987 playing the role of a mother of a gay man entitled “Lovingly Yours Helen”. And so with the same year when she accepted her first movie role in a comedy flick “Mga Anak Ni Facifica Falaylay” together with Dolphy. Having proven capable as a comedienne, several comedy shows offered to her. Here are some of the films which she had participated: “Black Magic” (1987), “Magkano Ang Iyong Dangal” (1989), “Pahiram Ng Isang Umaga” (1989), “Bakit Iisa Ang Puso” (1989), “Bote, Diyaryo, Garapa” (1989), “Starzan II” (1989), “My Darling Domestic” (1990), “Og Must Be Crazy” (1990), “Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo” (1993), “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin” (1994), “Ikalabing Isang Utos Ng Diyos” (1995), “Father & Son” (1995), “Madrasta” (1996), “Batang X” (1997), “Tataynic” (1998), “Ika-13 Kapitulo” (2000), “Home Along Da River” (2002), “Mano Po 2” (2003), “Mano Po 4- Ako Legal Wife” (2005) and the latest “Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah Ze Movie” (2006).
Zsa Zsa had guested, hosted and starred several TV programs since she began her solo career in 1892. She hosted programs as ASAP, Born Diva and Star In A Million. She starred TV programs as Familia Zaragosa, Sa Puso Ko Iingatan Ka, Lab Ko Si Babes and Hiwalay Kung Hiwalay, Daw!
On 1997, Zsa Zsa starred in the musical theatre play “Larawan”, a very successful and critically acclaimed full length play. Several albums were released by her under several record stations. Zsa Zsa replaced Modesto to a much older man Dolphy and eloped with him on 1990. Eventually, her marriage with Modesto was annulled on 2003. Zsa Zsa bore Dolphy two daughters, Nicole and Zia.
