Christian Joseph Morata Bautista, commonly known as Christian Bautista, is born on October 19, 1981 in Manila. His parents are Ebert Bautista and Jo Bautista. He graduated from the University of the Philippines Diliman as a Bachelor of Arts in Landscape Architecture. He was also a Table Tennis varsity player during college before focusing on singing and going into showbiz.
Nowadays, Christian Bautista is considered as a singing sensation in the Philippines. He established a name not only here in the Philippines but also in the neighboring countries like Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore.

He first plunged into the music scene as a popular runner-up of ABS CBN’s Star In A Million. After signing a recording contract with Warner Music Philippines, the life of this 24-year old Landscape Architecture graduate was never the same again.
“The Way You Look At Me” was the beginning of Christian’s successful career. It was frequently played in Indonesian radio stations. The song captivated the soul of the country’s young music lovers without knowing whose enchanting voice was behind the ballad. When the song became so popular, Warner Indonesia decided to bring Christian there. He was warmly welcomed by his fans with full support.
Indonesia’s largest TV Station, RCTI, aired “Completely- Christian Bautista”, the balladeer’s first Indonesian TV special, last February 2006. Christian performed with the biggest names in the Indonesian music scene — the famous 40-piece Magenta Orchestra, the young musical genius Andi Rianto, and the country’s two female divas, Krisdayanti and Titi D.J.
A Gold Record Award was garnered by Christian’s 2nd album, Completely, on its first week of release in the Philippines. “Everything You Do”, “Invincible”, and I Can Love You Easy” are examples of the hit songs contained by this album.
Christian performs regularly on ABS-CBN’s Sunday noontime show, ASAP, as a part of the “Champions” group. He is also having live concerts all over Asia, Middle East, and the US. STAGES, an event and talent management company in the Philippines, is managing Christian with his career.

Apart from his music career, Christian was also an actor, a product endorser, and also a BENCH model.
On an entertainment show called 'The Buzz', Christian Bautista admitted that he is currently dating fellow musician Rachelle Ann Go. He courted her for about two years and finally made their relationship public in 2006.
