All About Mocha

Mocha is a Filipino group of singers. Formed by Viva Records, the group is composed of four talented, beautiful and sexy divas. Talking about beauty and brains, they will never fail to impress audiences rather usually craves them for more. They can be described to a foreign Pussycat Dolls.

Mocha is a foursome band. Getting to know the members:

Mocha is the forefront of the group, the group’s lead singer. She is a multi-talented artist, can sing, dance, host and a product endorser. She stands 5’7” and possessed breathtaking curves with brown complexion thus named Mocha. Ironically, her complexion made her more appealing and attractive to people and almost everybody wants to see her perform. Not just beauty but brains, she is in into dancing an singing and usually wowed the crowd during her regular shows. Her passion to excel serves an example to her groupmates. She took pre-med in college but pursue singing career instead. She was former a GMA talent and her biggest break was with the girls after signing-up with Viva Records.

Another singer from the group is Hershey. She was born on November 12, 1987 and studied in Adamson University. Being the sweetest member of the group, she charmed the crowd with her sweetest killer smile. Her beauty is a sensation and leaves men wanting to see more of her. Aside from singer, she is also a dancer. As a certified dancer during college days, she was part of Adamson University PEP squad and joined several cheerleading competitions. Also, she found herself acting in her Alma Mater’s drama club. Her career flourished as she entered Mocha of Viva Records. She was even tagged by the group as “booty-shaker” and her fame rose as Mocha continued to succeed.

Bez is another Mocha sensation. She was born on March 8, 1987. Among of her hobbies are dancing, singing and other. Also interested in fashion and CHOCOlates. She may seemed serious when looked physically but as you know her, her natural wit will show up. She is a comedian in nature and makes everyone laughs when looked upon her facial expressions. You can also hear her giving lectures and found yourself following it. Prior to Mocha, she was former a member of SOP’s dance group and already aged in dancing. Like the other, her biggest break came when she was signed as one of the Mocha members.

The last but definitely not the least is Ghara or Grace. She is Mary Grace Oracion and was born on April 3, 1989 in Las Piñas City. She studied in Adamson University also. In the group, she is a certified Kikay and wanted to be dressed up in all occasions. No matter how busy, she has time to shop. Aside from Kikay, she was the group’s stylist. Grace usually looks like a snob but in reality, she is the friendliest among the members. People is naturally drawn to her charisma and love for life. In school, she known for cheering and in her breathtaking cheerleading stunts.

So many groups, all-female or all-male groups are coming nowadays but Mocha is certainly the hardest to beat. They all started as five last year, 2007. They entered and penetrated the market in such intensity and the credit goes to no other than Viva Records, the label that signed them up as their contract artists. The band continued as four upon the resignation of former member, Bambi.

Mocha group is now a product endorser. This includes Sundari, Jancen Cosmetic Surgery, Mohesaka Skin Clinic, Whitesmile Dental Clinic, F Salon and Body Spa and Arena Gym.

Mocha already released their debut album entitled Mocha under Viva Records. The album spawned hit danceable track, Patcha. They are currently working on their sophomore album under Viva Records which to be released on September. Their second album promises more danceable tracks than the first release. The group continually make themselves visible to fans as well as the upcoming fans across the Philippines through their appearance in TV, radio guestings and out-of-town gigs.

The group appeared in the headlines regarding the controversial photos of Mocha during the group’s private party. The pictures were seen Mocha and Hershey kissing each other. The worse thing is that the newspaper which released the photos accused them immediately as lesbians. But the group denied they were lesbian and found nothing wrong in kissing each other.
