Donna is the band’s voluptuous vocalist. Francis is ranked among the people considered as “multi-talented”. He plays the keyboards at the same time did some vocals. MC pounds the kahon and sings as well. The last but not the least is a guitar wizard from the prestigious UP Conservatory of Music. He is no other than the band’s guitarist, Ryan. Members were of different bands before they were bonded together. The idea sprouted when the members met in college and decided to form a musical group that is totally unique music identity. With combined experiences and talents, they come up with a distinct sound that eventually became one of the main attractions along the nightspot row. On 2005, Metafour signed a management and recording contract with the newly-formed Brown Cow Entertainment Productions. Like any other bands, recording is always been a dream for Metafour. The demo CD of Francis knocked Jimmy Antiporda’s door. The latter didn’t take them right away, instead the composer/arranger/producer/musical director guided them rightfully to start a successful musical career. He was impressed by the band’s potential and dedication to their chosen field. While making waves in the local music scene and attracting loyal fans in the live band circuit for almost a year, the four individuals collectively known as Metafour recorded their first-ever album. Titled after the band’s name, the album was produced under Brown Cow Entertainment Productions. Brown Cow made an agreement with Universal Records for the nationwide release of Metafour’s debut album. The album’s carrier single entitled “Friends” tells straightforwardly about the band’s pandemic potentials. As the matter of fact, its performance simply enthralls you to a wonderful musical divagation that soothes and uplifts one’s feeling. Other songs such as Give It To Me, One Day In Your Life, I Can’t Stop Loving You, Bahala Na, Handa Na, Thinkin’ About, Love Floats etc. were just as entertaining and time relaxing. The album is one rare musical package loaded with potentially-hit tracks. All were performed in a creditable Metafour Style and produced by giants like Raymund Timbol and Jimmy Antiporda with Kathleen Dy-Go as executive produce. With their own pop fused with rhythm and blues, the band is set to conquer the local music scene with their simple Metafouric sensation.
